Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

CBT can help you examine at unhelpful thought patterns and strive to make meaningful behavior changes using goal-oriented and active interventions. This treatment is effective in targeting anxiety and depressive disorders, perfectionism, and self-judgement. I am trained to deliver Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to treat OCD. I can also help with behavioral interventions to target ADHD symptoms.

Trauma-Focused Treatment

It can be scary and overwhelming to begin discussing your trauma history. I can deliver several different trauma-focused treatments and help you consider which option would best meet your individual needs at a pace where you feel comfortable. I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR). These treatments are effective for people who have had a traumatic experience or a history of repeated trauma.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills

While I do not offer comprehensive DBT services at this time, I can provide individual DBT skills coaching to clients. DBT skills can increase present moment awareness, deepen understanding of emotions, reduce impulsive behaviors, and improve communication in relationships. This treatment is effective in helping people who struggle with intense and overwhelming emotions.  

Supportive Psychotherapy

With this treatment modality, we can co-create a safe space to discuss difficult life transitions, work-related stressors, challenging interpersonal relationships and family dynamics, questions about your identity, painful past experiences, and hopes for the future. This treatment is effective for people who are looking for a space to process their life experiences without judgement and move towards a life aligned with their values.
